Aluminum 7050 is a heat treatable alloy with high fracture toughness and corrosion cracking resistance. It is available in two tempers — T7451 and T7651. The alloy’s high mechanical properties and excellent strength hold up even at subzero temperatures. Applications for this material mostly involve the aerospace industry.
