Alloy 925 is an age hardenable nickel based alloy that contains chromium and iron. Its composition offers a high level of strength and corrosion resistance. Often sold as Inconel® 925, alloy 925, it is known for a number of different unique properties including protection in oxidizing and reducing atmosphere, resistance to chloride ion stress-corrosion cracking, and excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion.
