Item # A600-40-250-540, 1/4 Inch Sch. 40 Alloy 600 Seamless or Welded Pipe

Nickel Alloy 600 pipe, also known as Inconel® 600 pipe, is an extremely versatile nickel-chromium alloy capable of resisting oxidation in temperatures up to 2000 ºF (1093 ºC). It's also used in cryogenic environments, thanks to a minimum of 72% Nickel combined with chromium in its chemical composition. It exhibits corrosion resistance to both organic and inorganic compounds, as well as chloride-ion stress induced cracking. Nickel Alloy 600 is used in a variety of critical applications that require protection from corrosion and heat. It consists of 72% Nickel, 14-17% Cr, 6-10% Fe, 1% Mn, and 0.5% Si.

Alloy 600 Pipe is available in Seamless or Welded from Size ranges 1/8" up to 26". Listed below are common sizes. Please contact for sizes not listed.

Additional Information
In nuclear power, reactor vessels and heat exchangers use Nickel Alloy 600 piping and tubing. For chemical processing, Nickel Alloy 600 parts resist most alkaline solutions, sulfuric compounds, and low rates of attack from chlorine and hydrogen chloride. In aerospace, gas turbine components and jet engines benefit from Nickel Alloy 600's properties. High temperature environments such as heat treatment furnace components and fixtures withstand corrosion thanks to its increased nickel content. It's readily fabricated using hot or cold treatments and can also be brazed, welded, and soldered using standard processes. We are a stocking distributor of all Inconel® 600 products including bar, rod, wire, forging stock, plate, sheet, strip, and tube forms.

Our Nickel Alloy 600 pipes can be sized according to your exact specifications. As an ISO 9001:2008 registered company, all of our partner mills adhere to stringent industry standards such as ASTM, ASME, SAE, AMS, BS, DIN, ISO, QQ, and MIL-DTL. With over two decades of experience, our clients rely on us for purity and quality. We offer a unique line of specialty metals at competitive pricing and with reliable on-time delivery. We are a value added volume metals supplier, providing a diverse line of alloys made with titanium, nickel, carbon steel, aluminum, stainless steel, copper, brass, and bronze.
