Aluminum Alloy 6063 offers high corrosion resistance, excellent finishing characteristics, and fair machinability. It can be hot or cold formed and is available in the T6 or T4 temper. This medium strength alloy takes welding and anodizing well. Common uses for this material include electrical substations, pipe railings, windows, and irrigation tubing. Continental Steel’s Aluminum 6063 meets various industry standards and is available in channels for architectural applications.
