    Nicrofer 59 is a nickel-chromium-molybdenum alloy with extra low carbon and silicon content. The alloy has excellent corrosion resistance and high mechanical strength. It is characterized by excellent resistance to pitting and crevice corrosion. Nicrofer 59 is particularly good in applications using sulphuric and hydrochloric acid mixtures. Nicrofer 59 is used in flue gas sesulphurisation (FGD) applications for scrubbers, reheaters, dampers, fans, and agitators; components for sour gas service; digesters in the pulp industry; and chemical processing equipment.
